Privacy notice

At REVELA MARKETING & VISIBILITY we take care of your personal data the same way we take care of your music. This comprehensive privacy notice explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights. It is written to comply with Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and with applicable US law, including the laws of the State of Florida.

This document is under legal review and may be updated before its final version.

Who is responsible for your data

REVELA MARKETING & VISIBILITY (“Revela,” “we” or “us”), located at 331 Ives Dairy Rd, Miami, Florida 33179, United States, is responsible for processing the personal data you provide through revelamarketingmusic.com, our forms, WhatsApp, email and any other channel related to our services.

For anything related to your personal data, you can reach our privacy team at contact@revelamarketingmusic.com or by phone and WhatsApp at +1 954 661 5775.

Personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of personal data:

We do not request sensitive personal data such as ethnic origin, health information, religious beliefs or sexual orientation. Please don’t include it in notes, messages or content you send us.

  • Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number and country.
  • Account data: email address, password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text), preferred language and, if you choose to sign in with Google, your name and profile picture.
  • Order and campaign data: the URL of the content to be promoted, project title or artist name, targeting options, notes, preferred start date, coupons applied and order history.
  • Billing data: name or company name, RFC or Tax ID, tax regime, billing address and CFDI use when you request an invoice.
  • Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal. Revela never receives or stores your full card number; we only receive limited details such as the card brand, the last four digits, the payment status and the transaction ID.
  • Communications: messages you send us through the contact form, email or WhatsApp, and the platforms you tell us you’re interested in.
  • Technical and browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, approximate country, language, pages visited and information collected through cookies and similar technologies, as explained in our Cookie policy.

Primary purposes

We use your personal data for the following purposes, which are necessary to provide the service you request:

  • Creating and managing your customer account.
  • Processing your orders and payments and confirming their status.
  • Checking that your content meets the service requirements, and setting up, running and monitoring your campaigns on third-party platforms.
  • Sending you confirmations, updates on your campaign’s launch and progress, and the final results report.
  • Issuing receipts and, when requested, Mexican tax invoices (CFDI).
  • Handling support requests, inquiries, refunds and chargebacks.
  • Preventing fraud, abuse and spam, keeping the site secure, and complying with legal and tax obligations and requests from competent authorities.

Secondary purposes

In addition, and only if you don’t object or, where the law requires it, if you give us your consent, we will use your data for the following purposes. They aren’t necessary for the service, but they help us serve you better:

If you don’t want us to use your data for these purposes, you can tell us at any time by emailing contact@revelamarketingmusic.com, clicking the unsubscribe link in our promotional emails, or turning off analytics and marketing cookies under “Cookie preferences.” Saying no will never be a reason to deny you the services you purchase from us.

  • Sending you news, promotions, coupons and invitations related to our services.
  • Running satisfaction surveys and internal research to improve the site and our services.
  • Measuring site usage with analytics tools and showing you relevant ads through Google, Meta and TikTok pixels, only if you accepted the corresponding cookies.
  • Featuring your artist name, content or campaign results as a success story, only with your prior, express permission.

Data sharing and service providers

To provide the service, we share data with providers that act as processors on our behalf, under confidentiality and security obligations. Some of them are located in the United States or other countries, so your data may be transferred internationally. When we run a campaign, we mainly share the content URL and targeting criteria with the ad platforms, not your contact details.

We may also disclose data to competent authorities when required by law or court order, and to third parties in any other case in which applicable law allows it without consent. We do not sell or rent your personal data.

  • Stripe: processing card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, OXXO and SPEI payments, and fraud prevention.
  • PayPal: processing payments made with PayPal.
  • Resend: sending transactional emails such as order confirmations, campaign updates and password resets.
  • Google: running YouTube campaigns through Google Ads, analytics with Google Analytics 4 (if you accept it) and Sign in with Google (optional).
  • Meta: running Instagram and Facebook campaigns through Meta Ads, the Meta Pixel (if you accept it) and WhatsApp messaging when you contact us there.
  • TikTok: running campaigns through TikTok Ads and the TikTok Pixel (if you accept it).
  • Cloudflare: security, spam and bot protection (Turnstile) and content delivery.
  • Hostinger: hosting for the website and database.

Your ARCO rights

As the owner of your personal data, you have the right to:

You can also ask us to limit the use or disclosure of your data, for example to stop receiving promotional messages. We keep an internal opt-out list for that purpose.

  • Access: know what personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
  • Rectification: correct your data if it’s inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Cancellation: ask us to delete your data from our records when you believe it’s no longer needed for the purposes described, unless we are legally required to keep it.
  • Opposition: object to the use of your data for specific purposes.

How to exercise your rights

To exercise your ARCO rights, withdraw your consent or limit the use of your data, email contact@revelamarketingmusic.com with the subject line “ARCO Rights.” Your request must include:

We will reply within 20 business days of receiving your complete request and, if your request is granted, we will carry it out within 15 business days of our reply. These periods may be extended once, for an equal period, when circumstances justify it. If you believe your request wasn’t properly handled, you can contact the Mexican authority responsible for personal data protection.

  • Your full name and an email address or other way to send you our response.
  • A copy of your government-issued ID or, if you’re acting on someone else’s behalf, proof of your authority to represent them.
  • A clear description of the personal data involved and the right you want to exercise.
  • Any detail that helps us locate your information, such as your order number or the email you used to purchase.
  • For rectification requests, the corrections you’re asking for and, if applicable, supporting documents.

Withdrawing your consent

You can withdraw any consent you’ve given us at any time by following the procedure described in the previous section. Withdrawal is not retroactive, and we may not be able to act on it immediately or in full when we must keep processing some data to meet a legal or tax obligation or to resolve a pending inquiry or chargeback.

Please note that if you withdraw consent for primary purposes, we may be unable to keep providing the service or running campaigns in progress.

Retention and security

We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described and our legal, tax and accounting obligations. After that, we securely delete or anonymize it.

We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, role-based access controls and certified payment providers. No system is foolproof; if a breach significantly affects your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Users in the United States

If you live in the United States, we process your data in accordance with applicable federal and state laws, including the Florida Information Protection Act regarding data security and breach notification. Where a state privacy law applies to you, such as those of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas or other states, you may have the following rights, as applicable:

We do not sell your personal data or exchange it for money. The Meta and TikTok advertising pixels, which some laws may treat as “sharing” data for targeted advertising, only load if you accept marketing cookies, and you can turn them off at any time under “Cookie preferences.”

To exercise these rights, email contact@revelamarketingmusic.com. We may verify your identity before responding, and we will accept requests from an authorized agent who provides proof of authority. We will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and if we deny your request you may appeal by replying to our response.

  • The right to know about and access the personal data we process about you.
  • The right to correct inaccurate data.
  • The right to delete your personal data, subject to the exceptions provided by law.
  • The right to receive a portable copy of your data and to opt out of the sale of data, targeted advertising and profiling.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal data, email us at contact@revelamarketingmusic.com.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies and local storage to make the site work and, only with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies. You can see the details for each one in our Cookie policy and change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.

We may update this notice to reflect legal changes or changes to our services or providers. We will post the current version on this page with its update date and, if the changes are significant, we will let you know by email or with a visible notice on the site.
